Program Overview

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program prepares students to work under the supervision of a physical therapist in various healthcare settings. The 82-credit hour program includes general education, prerequisites, and discipline core requirements. Graduates are eligible to sit for the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) and pursue a career as a Physical Therapist Assistant. The program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
