Program Overview
This accelerated bachelor's to graduate program allows accomplished students with a 3.0+ GPA to earn both degrees on a shortened timeline. Students can apply six to nine units of graduate-level work towards both their undergraduate and graduate degrees, saving time and money while gaining a competitive edge in their industry. The program offers structured and individualized plans to help students transition smoothly from their bachelor's to graduate programs.

The program offers accelerated bachelor's to graduate programs allowing students to begin their graduate education as an undergraduate. It provides the opportunity to save time and money while advancing their academic careers.

The program aims to help students:
- Apply six to nine units of graduate-level work toward both their undergraduate and graduate degrees.
- Enjoy individualized career advising from faculty mentors.
- Graduate with two degrees on a shortened timeline, prepared for professional advancement.
- Gain a competitive edge in their industry with advanced skills.
- Quickly immerse themselves in a field of study that they are passionate about.
Other:
- The program is designed for accomplished students with a track record of excellent academic performance.
- Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 – 3.25 and a minimum of 60 completed undergraduate units.
- Students accepted into the program must begin graduate courses as an undergraduate student, apply to their chosen graduate program during their final semester of undergraduate study, and continue their graduate program in the semester immediately following completion of their undergraduate degree.
- Students who decide not to pursue their graduate degree at TU will receive units for completed coursework at the undergraduate level only. These units cannot be used toward a graduate degree at a later date.
- The program offers two options for program plans: Structured plans and Individualized plans.
- Structured plans have clearly defined course requirements, offering a well-defined transition between programs.
- Individualized plans give students the freedom to choose a course sequence that will allow them to transition from their bachelor’s program to a participating graduate program.
Entry Requirements:
- Minimum Cumulative GPA: 3.0 - 3.25 (GPA requirement is set by each graduate program).
- Minimum Completed Undergraduate Units: 60 units (junior status). Transfer students must have completed at least 12 of the units at TU.
- Undergraduate Requirements Fulfilled with Graduate Coursework: 6 units are required for entry into a Graduate Certificate program, and 9 units for a Master's degree program.
- Screening Forms Submission Deadline: First day of classes for the term in which the student wants to enroll.
- Application to Graduate Program: Students must apply to their chosen graduate program during their final semester of undergraduate study (unless a specific program requires a different application timeline).
- Continuation of Graduate Program: Students must continue their graduate program in the semester immediately following completion of their undergraduate degree (exceptions may be considered - please reach out to the Director of Accelerated Programs).
