TU accounting students can be found interning at public accounting firms, private companies and government agencies across Maryland. The accounting major provides the necessary accounting courses to prepare students for the CPA exam and public accounting careers in auditing, tax accounting, cost accounting or managerial accounting. A degree in accounting can also prepare you for a successful career in government, corporations, or as a business owner.
