Program Overview

Towson University's Biology program offers four concentrations: general biology, cellular, molecular, and organismal physiology, ecology, evolution, and conservation, and secondary education. With small classes, hands-on research opportunities, and advanced facilities, students gain a solid foundation in biology and prepare for careers in research, medicine, environmental science, or teaching. The program also fosters student engagement through TriBeta Biological Honor Society and connects students to research giants in the Baltimore/Washington corridor.
