Program Overview

Trent's Political Studies program offers a diverse exploration of political topics through three concentrations: world politics, Canadian politics, or political theory. In small seminar settings, students develop analytical skills, engage in lively discussions, and gain knowledge of leadership through the Jarislowsky Chair in Trust & Political Leadership. The program also provides a pathway to a legal career through the Trent/Swansea Law Dual Degree program and offers practical experience through co-op, field placements, and research practicums.
