Program Overview

The Fire Academy Level I Certificate prepares students for entry-level employment in the structural fire service. Through lectures by experienced firefighters and hands-on practice at state-of-the-art facilities, the program equips students with essential knowledge and skills, including fire investigation, problem-solving, communication, critical thinking, and incident management. Graduates meet the requirements for the State Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control Firefighter I exam.
