Program Overview

- PHYS 240 & PHYS 242 General Physics with Calculus III and General Physics with Calculus III Laboratory (4 units)

- ENGR 102 Statics (3 units)
- ENGR 201 Dynamics (3 units)
- ENGR 235 Surveying (3 units)

Electives (6 units):
- Approved upper division civil engineering courses within one of the civil engineering focus areas.
- No upper division course from the major can be double-counted towards meeting the elective requirements of the minor or second major.
- Prior approval from the program head is required for elective courses.
Other:
- At least 12 of the required 21 core and elective units must be completed at SF State.
- All courses in the minor must be taken for a letter grade (CR/NC is not acceptable).
- Students must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 in all coursework used to satisfy the minor requirements.
