The Geography Minor is a 21-unit program that requires a minimum of 6 upper-division units. It consists of a core curriculum of three lower-division courses plus 12 units of upper-division geography electives on advisement. Students must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 in all coursework for the minor. The minor aims to provide students with a fundamental understanding of physical and human geography and its application to real-world problems. Students will develop skills in geographical research methods and techniques. Students are advised that the CR grade is acceptable in one course towards fulfilling the Geography minor requirements.
