Program Overview

The Minor in Juvenile Justice educates students about the juvenile justice system and its origins, as well as strategies to reform and intervene in youth involvement. The program explores social inequities that contribute to system involvement, particularly concerning race, class, and gender. Students analyze intervention strategies and evaluate their impact, preparing them for careers related to youth, crime, and justice in human services.
