About Major
Game Development is the art of creating games and describes the design, development, and release of a game. It may involve concept generation, design, build, test, and release. While you create a game, it is essential to think about the game mechanics, rewards, player engagement, and level design. Game Development can be undertaken by a large Game Development Studio or by a single individual. It can be as small or large as you like. People who make video games or computer games are called game developers. You can think of them like software developers, as video games are essentially just a specific type of software. A game developer could be a programmer, a sound designer, an artist, a designer, or many other roles available in the industry. While becoming a good game developer doesn't require being a skilled player, you should be able to analyze a game to determine why it is good or bad. It is the only way you'll be able to develop good gameplay yourself and realize when something isn't working and how to improve it.
