The Accelerated Option Bachelor of Science in Nursing (AO BSN) is a program designed for individuals who hold a bachelor's degree in another field. This program is comprised of four semesters of full-time coursework.

Program Overview

The AO BSN program is uniquely designed to provide students with the necessary education and training to become licensed as a registered nurse (RN) upon passing the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN®). Graduates of the program can also pursue graduate studies in nursing at the master's and doctoral levels.

Admission Requirements

The AO BSN program has a competitive admissions process based on comprehensive evaluations. Applications are reviewed once a year to admit students for the Fall term.

• Classes for the AO BSN program are held at the Biscayne Bay (BBC) Campus.

Licensing Eligibility
