What is a Medical Lab Technologist?

A medical lab technologist analyzes body fluids and tissues for proper diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. They may also ensure blood types match before transfusions or test urine samples for drugs.


What does a Medical Lab Technologist do?

  1. Draw blood samples from patients.
  2. Perform requested testing procedures using a range of testing techniques.
  3. Prepare a wide variety of sample types for analysis.
  4. Validate the testing results based on a quality assurance system.

  • Annual administrative fees for Egyptian students: 9,340 EGP (to be paid before the first semester)
  • Admission administrative fees for Egyptian students: 5,500 EGP (to be paid once on the admission's semester)
