The Education Degree offered at Oregon State University's Corvallis campus allows students to earn a degree in Education with the skills to become a licensed teacher while paying undergraduate tuition costs. Students can complete this degree to become endorsed in Biology, Chemistry, Family and Consumer Sciences, Health, and Integrated Science. Language Arts (English), Social Studies, Advanced Mathematics, Foundational Math, or Physics. Students are encouraged to complete a dual major related to their desired subject to gain in-depth knowledge in their desired teaching area. Students can begin teaching as soon as they graduate and are prepared to advance their education in various fields after completion based on their career goals. Students complete a year-long student teaching experience as part of a cohort with an average of 25 students with high support from faculty and mentors. Students can embed an ESOL Endorsement or Dual Language Specialization to enhance their skill sets.
Teaching:
Students take classes with expert faculty who have teaching experience in K-12 classrooms. Highly trained supervisors in the student's content area work closely with them as they complete their year-long student teaching experience.

- Students can also choose to meet the requirements through 60 hours of approved volunteer or work experience in a public school classroom with the age group they hope to teach.
- The Content Mastery sheet is a list of courses at OSU that provide content knowledge in the content area or subject students wish to teach.
- Background checks are valid for one year and are through the Oregon Department of Education.
- Fingerprints are valid for three years and are processed through TSPC, OSP, and the FBI.
