Program Overview

Niagara College's Recreation Therapy – Fast Track Program is a 2-year diploma designed to prepare students for careers supporting individuals' well-being through recreation and leisure experiences. The program offers specialized training in dementia care, Nordic Pole Walking, and inclusion, along with over 430 hours of practical field experience. Graduates are eligible for a variety of career opportunities in healthcare, community agencies, and recreation departments.
