Program Overview

The Child and Youth Care program at Niagara College is a 3-year Advanced Diploma designed to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge to support the positive growth of children and youth through complex life changes. The program emphasizes therapeutic relationships, assessment, care planning, and advocacy, preparing graduates for careers in community, mental health, and social service agencies, among others. The program features a unique 6-term delivery through in-person, hybrid, and online learning modalities, allowing students to graduate in just 24 months.
