Program Overview

The Educational Studies, BS (Non-Licensure) program at Southwest Minnesota State University prepares students for careers in education without a teaching license. It offers a comprehensive understanding of educational theory and practice, with four emphasis areas: Early Childhood, School-Age Recreation, Youth-at-Risk, and Applied Elementary Education. Students gain a solid foundation for roles in education outside of teaching.
