Program Overview


Information Systems, M.S.

The Master of Science in Information Systems at Saint Louis University's School for Professional Studies is designed to provide students with the skills needed to succeed as information systems professionals. The 33-credit master's program is offered in a flexible format, with multiple start terms and 100% online courses in eight-week terms. This makes advanced education more accessible for working professionals. An on-campus version of the program is also available for international students who need to meet visa requirements.

Admission Requirements

  • Required SPS graduate courses: Applied Analytics & Methods I, Ethical, Evidence-Based Decision Making
  • Foundation courses: Programming & Problem Solving, Information Retrieval, Enterprise Architecture and Systems Infrastructure, Advanced Software Development, Mobile and Web Application Development
  • Electives or Post-Baccalaureate Certificate: students can choose from various courses or pursue a post-baccalaureate certificate in areas like Cloud Computing or Information Systems Consulting
  • Master's Project: a 3-credit research project

Tuition

Tuition for the program is $810 per credit for online graduate degrees and post-baccalaureate certificates. The total program cost is $42,000 for on-ground MS programs.


Scholarships and Financial Aid

Continuation Standards

Students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.00 in all graduate/professional courses to continue in the program.
