Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering, B.S. Double Major
Program Overview
Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering, B.S. Double Major
Overview
The Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering, B.S. Double Major is a program that allows students to complete a bachelor's degree with both aerospace and mechanical engineering majors. This option is available to Saint Louis University students who wish to take additional courses to complete the requirements for both majors.
Requirements
To complete the double major, students must fulfill the standard requirements for one of the majors (the primary major) and complete an additional 23 or 26 credits in the other field (the secondary major). Students are responsible for creating a schedule that enables them to finish these courses in a timely manner while meeting all pre- and co-requisite requirements.
Accreditation
- The Aerospace Engineering, B.S. is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET under the commission's General Criteria and Program Criteria for Aerospace and Similarly Named Engineering Programs.
- The Mechanical Engineering, B.S. is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET under the commission's General Criteria and Program Criteria for Mechanical and Similarly Named Engineering Programs.
