Program Overview

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program at Contra Costa College prepares students to become certified EMTs through hands-on training and real-world experience with local first responders. The program emphasizes skill development through simulation, and students can prepare for the national registry test and a career in emergency medical services. Currently on probationary status, the program is scheduled for review in 2023.
