The Educational Support program is a two-year Ontario College Diploma program designed for individuals interested in supporting children and adolescents with special needs in academic settings. The program prepares students to work alongside education professionals in the classroom to maximize learning opportunities for exceptional students and their families.


Objectives:

The program aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to:

  • Work in a multidisciplinary environment alongside teachers, EAs, speech-language pathologists, and physiotherapists.
  • Utilize the most up-to-date assistive and augmentative technologies to support students' needs.
  • Obtain relevant certificates within the program (e.g., lifting, feeding, Behaviour Management Systems Training).
