Program Overview

The Master of Applied Science program at Otago Polytechnic is a postgraduate qualification that prepares students for doctoral-level study, academic careers, or leadership roles in sport or exercise. The program offers three specialty areas: Performance Analysis, Physical Conditioning, or Exercise Leadership. Graduates are eligible for accreditation with various professional organizations and can expect to gain employment as expert practitioners in various settings within the sport and exercise industry, including government or non-government sport, rehabilitation, exercise and wellness promotion, fitness industry roles, and employee fitness.
