Program Overview

The University of Western Australia's Master of Physics is a research-intensive program designed to equip students with a deep understanding of physics principles. Degree Overview:

The Master of Physics is a postgraduate degree offered by the University of Western Australia. It is a full-time, on-campus program that can be completed in 1.5 to 2 years. The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental laws and principles of physics, as well as the skills and knowledge necessary to pursue a career in research, industry, or government.

The program aims to:

• Develop a combination of high-level research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Provide students with the opportunity to specialize in one of five areas of physics: Astronomy and Astrophysics, Computational Physics, Experimental Physics, Medical Physics, and Theoretical Physics.
• Equip students with the skills required to apply theoretical knowledge of physical principles and mathematical techniques to practical problems.

Program Description:

The Master of Physics is a research-oriented program that emphasizes hands-on learning and practical experience. Students will have the opportunity to work on research projects with internationally recognized research groups, giving them invaluable experience and helping them to develop networks. The program also offers many opportunities for interaction with industry, allowing students to understand where their degree can take them.
