Program Overview

The Human Sciences (Anatomy and Physiology) major at UWA provides a comprehensive foundation in human anatomy and physiology, from the molecular to the organ system level. Students gain practical experience through laboratory work and the study of human cadavers, preparing them for direct entry into professional Masters programs in fields such as Optometry, Clinical Audiology, Podiatry, and Pharmacy. The program emphasizes the adaptability of human form and function to diverse environmental conditions and promotes an understanding of human diversity and its impact on anatomy and physiology.
