Program Overview

The University of Nebraska Omaha's Screenwriting Minor provides students with a comprehensive introduction to the craft of screenwriting, enhancing their writing skills and preparing them for a career in film. The minor requires 18 credits, including core courses in screenwriting fundamentals, intermediate and advanced studios. Students can also choose from a range of electives, such as script analysis, acting, digital literacies, and film theory, to expand their knowledge and skills in filmmaking.
