Program Overview

The Elementary Education program prepares candidates to teach in K-6 classrooms through a comprehensive curriculum including professional education, related content courses, and a chosen concentration. Candidates completing the program are eligible for initial teacher certification and endorsement after meeting specific grade requirements, including a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 and a "C" or higher in all certification and concentration courses.
