Program Overview

Johns Hopkins' Program in Latin American, Caribbean, and Latinx Studies offers an undergraduate major and minor, promoting the study of the histories, cultures, and political systems of these regions. Students explore various disciplines, develop language proficiency, and have opportunities for study abroad, while coursework emphasizes diverse perspectives on Latin America, the Caribbean, and the Latinx experience in the United States. The program encourages students to tailor their studies to their interests, with the option of pursuing an honors track for in-depth research.
