Program Overview

The University of Galway's Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health and Safety Management is a multidisciplinary program that prepares graduates for careers in health and safety management. The program covers a wide range of subjects, including basic sciences, health sciences, engineering, law, management, and regulatory affairs. The program is accredited by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and includes a seven-month paid work placement in industry. Graduates are employed in a variety of roles, including Occupational Health and Safety Manager and Environmental Health and Safety Professional.
