Program Overview


The Artificial Intelligence concentration equips students to develop autonomous software agents and robots. Through required courses in natural language processing and artificial intelligence, students gain foundational knowledge. They choose from a variety of electives to specialize in areas such as machine learning, robotics, and game development. Students participate in competitions and capstone projects to enhance their skills and explore advanced topics. Upon completion, graduates possess the skills to create software programs and robots that mimic human behavior and assist humans in complex tasks.

The Artificial Intelligence concentration is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills to program autonomous behavior in software agents and robots. It focuses on computational approaches to solving problems that traditionally require human intelligence. Students will learn about reasoning, planning, and learning techniques used in natural language understanding, robotics, and game development. The program aims to provide students with the essential skills to develop software programs and robots that mimic human behavior and assist humans in complex tasks.
