Program Overview
The Artificial Intelligence concentration equips students to develop autonomous software agents and robots. Through required courses in natural language processing and artificial intelligence, students gain foundational knowledge. They choose from a variety of electives to specialize in areas such as machine learning, robotics, and game development. Students participate in competitions and capstone projects to enhance their skills and explore advanced topics. Upon completion, graduates possess the skills to create software programs and robots that mimic human behavior and assist humans in complex tasks.

The Artificial Intelligence concentration is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills to program autonomous behavior in software agents and robots. Students have the opportunity to participate in national and international AI and game programming competitions. They can also undertake capstone course projects to explore specific topics in greater depth.
