About Program

Program Overview

The Architectural Engineering (BSAE) undergraduate program at the University of Nebraska Omaha is a four-year program requiring 128 credit hours. The curriculum is common to all three fields of specialization (building structural systems, building mechanical systems and acoustics, and building lighting and electrical systems) for the first three years. The one-year Master of Architectural Engineering (MAE) program of 30 credits is also offered. The MAE degree is accredited by ABET, and almost all of the BSAE graduates continue to complete the MAE degree.
