Program Overview
The Management Information Systems (MIS) minor at UNO is a 9-hour program designed for graduate students in other programs. Students must take three graduate courses, receiving a grade of "B" or better in each. A minimum TOEFL score of 550 and a GPA of 3.0 or higher in the current graduate program are required to declare the minor.
Program Outline
The minor requires students to complete a minimum of three graduate courses (9 semester hours ending in 0), receiving a grade of "B" (3.0 on a 4.0 scale) or better in each course. The courses must be approved by the student's advisor in their major subject and by the Graduate Program Chair (GPC) in management information systems. To declare an MIS minor, a minimum TOEFL score of 550 is required, and a GPA of 3.0 or better in the current graduate program is necessary.
