About Program

Program Overview

This 20-credit program enables students to gain academic credits for continual professional development in the workplace. Its aim is to support the development of higher-level academic skills, particularly critical reflection and the ability to critically appraise the evidence and apply it to practice. Students are expected to develop a portfolio of evidence to support this. The program allows students to develop specialist knowledge in their chosen area, further develop their skills in appraising the evidence in their area of choice and applying it to their practice, and enable critical reflection and encourage students to consider their own continued development needs in light of their area of practice.
