Program Overview

The Enhanced Paediatric Nursing Skills module is a 30-credit, level 7 program designed for Band 5 and 6 nurses to enhance their clinical assessment skills for babies, children, and young people. Delivered in partnership with Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, the module combines online and face-to-face teaching, covering anatomy, pathophysiology, and practical assessment techniques. Upon completion, nurses will be equipped to undertake patient histories, physical examinations, and communicate findings effectively, reducing avoidable hospital reviews and admissions.
