Stand Alone Power Systems (SAPS) are a viable option for many applications, from remote monitoring stations to off-grid households. This 3-day course is designed for busy professionals who do not have the time to attend lengthy face-to-face courses and builds upon the basic knowledge provided in Grid-Connected Photovoltaic Systems: Design Only and Grid-Connected Battery Systems: Design Only. The course covers topics such as battery charging, battery inverters, cable sizing, site suitability, system design, backup generators, and regulations.
