Program Overview

This midwifery program prepares students for a career as a registered midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). It covers principles of midwifery care, examination of newborns, professional midwifery, investigation of midwifery practice, and more. Students gain practical experience through work placements with NHS Trusts, and upon completion, they can specialize in areas such as teenage pregnancy, parent education, and infant feeding.
