Program Overview
Overview
The MSc Medical Microbiology program at the University of Manchester offers students the opportunity to learn about the medical and molecular aspects of bacteriology, virology, mycology, epidemiology, and the management of infectious diseases. Entry Requirements
- An honours degree (minimum Upper Second) or overseas equivalent in:

- medical laboratory sciences
- biomedical sciences
- medicine
- veterinary medicine
- dentistry
- pharmacy
- other biology degrees incorporating substantial human biology and, ideally, an element of microbiology
- Non-standard applicants will be considered on an individual basis, but may be required to enrol initially on the PGDip course
- Intercalating medical students, both from The University of Manchester and other UK universities, are also eligible to apply upon completion of their third year
