MSc Petroleum Geoscience

Overview

The MSc Petroleum Geoscience program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices of petroleum geoscience. Fees

  • For entry in the academic year beginning September 2025, the tuition fees are as follows:
    • MSc (full-time):
      • UK students (per annum): £14,000
      • International, including EU, students (per annum): £37,500

  • The fees quoted above are fully inclusive for the course tuition, administration, field trip costs (transport, hotels, and insurance), and computational costs, and also include essential field equipment (boots, waterproofs) during studies.

Policy on Additional Costs

  • All students should normally be able to complete their program of study without incurring additional study costs over and above the tuition fee for that program.
  • Any unavoidable additional compulsory costs totaling more than 1% of the annual home undergraduate fee per annum, regardless of whether the program in question is undergraduate or postgraduate taught, will be made clear to students at the point of application.
