Degree Overview:
The MSc Occupational Hygiene program is the largest and longest-standing postgraduate occupational hygiene program in the UK. It is accredited by the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) and approved by the Faculty of Occupational Medicine (FOM) London and Royal College of Physicians (London and Ireland). The program aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills to investigate, evaluate, and control hazards in the workplace, including chemical, physical, and biological agents. Students will learn professional practices in occupational hygiene and participate in international debates about the critical challenges concerning leadership of occupational health teams at a senior management level.
Teaching:
The program is taught by a diverse teaching team, including clinically-trained doctors, occupational physicians, chartered occupational hygienists, occupational health nurses, epidemiologists, technologists, and statisticians. The program offers full or part-time online blended learning courses.

Entry Requirements:
We require a good honours degree (Lower Second or above), preferably in a science discipline. In lieu of the usual entry requirements, extensive professional experience, coupled with evidence of further training or qualifications, will be considered.
