The MSc Renewable Energy and Clean Technology (REaCT) is a 12-month full-time postgraduate programme offered by the University of Manchester. This programme focuses on the development of sustainable energy solutions and clean technologies to address global environmental challenges.

Entry Requirements
We require a good Upper Second Class Honours degree or international equivalent in any of the following:
- Electrical and electronic engineering
- Mechanical engineering
- Engineering
- Civil engineering
- Advanced structural engineering
- Physics
- Mathematics
- Statistics
- Equivalent scientific discipline with a significant mathematical and engineering content
Other subject areas may be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on their level of numerical analysis and modelling content.
Applicants will be considered with alternative qualifications who also have appropriate industrial experience.

We operate a non-staged admissions process for this programme. Provided your application is complete, we aim to give you a decision on your application within 3 months from the date on which it was submitted.
Applications placed after 30th June 2025 may be considered at our discretion if there are still places available on the programme.

Fees
For entry in the academic year beginning September 2025, the tuition fees are as follows:
- MSc (full-time)
- UK students (per annum): £14,000
- International, including EU, students (per annum): £36,500
The fees quoted above will be fully inclusive for the course tuition, administration, and computational costs during your studies.
