Program Overview


MSc Quantitative Finance

Overview

The MSc Quantitative Finance program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of asset pricing and investment, as well as the main theories of finance, including the CAPM and the Black-Scholes model. Students will also learn about interest rate models and interest rate derivatives.


Entry Requirements

  • A First or Upper Second class honours degree (2:1, with 60% average) from a UK university or the overseas equivalent.
  • Ideally, a degree in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, physics, engineering, actuarial or decision sciences, with a significant number of modules in quantitative subjects, such as differential equations, econometrics or mathematical statistics in the final year of the degree, with excellent results.
  • A GMAT/GRE is not required to apply for this course, but may be requested by The Admissions Team after the initial review of the application if the degree does not contain enough relevant quantitative modules.

  • Refund Policy:
    • A deposit of £2,000 is required to cover non-recoverable costs and secure the place.
    • The deposit is non-refundable, except in the following situations:
      • Failure to meet the conditions of the offer
      • Refusal of a visa or entry clearance to enter the UK (proof must be submitted)
