Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements:

  • Minimum Qualification: An Upper Second honours degree or the overseas equivalent.
  • Alternative Experience: Significant relevant research or professional experience may be considered in place of an academic qualification lower than an Upper Second.
  • Lower Qualifications: Applications from individuals who fail to meet the required entry criteria will be considered on an individual basis, but they may be required to initially enroll in a PGCert or PGDip program.
  • Progression to the full MRes course may be allowed if they pass the course at the required master's level.
  • Intercalating Medical Students: The course is available for intercalating medical students from The University of Manchester and other UK universities upon successful completion of their third year.
