Program Overview
The MPH Public Health (Web-based Learning) program from the University of Manchester provides students with the knowledge and skills to address public health concerns globally. The program offers a flexible learning experience with extensive support and an optional face-to-face induction. Students can choose to specialize in Global Health, Dental Public Health, Occupational Health, or Communicable Disease Prevention and Control. Some units can be taken as credited CPD through the Public Health Professional Development program.

Entry Requirements:
- Minimum Qualification: An Upper Second honours degree or the overseas equivalent.
- Alternative to Academic Qualification: Significant relevant research or professional experience may be considered in place of an academic qualification lower than an Upper Second.
- Individual Consideration: Applications from individuals who fail to meet the required entry criteria will be considered on an individual basis.
- Alternative Entry Route: Applicants may be required to initially enroll on another route, such as a PGCert or PGDip, and may be allowed to progress to the full MPH course if they pass the course at the required master's level.
- Intercalating Medical Students: The course is available for intercalating medical students, both from The University of Manchester and other UK universities, upon successful completion of their third year.
