The MSc Advanced Engineering Materials program is a 12-month full-time program designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the key factors shaping the design and selection of materials used in advanced engineering applications. The program focuses on the processing, properties, and stability of these materials. For entry in the academic year beginning September 2024, the tuition fees are as follows:

UK students (per annum): £14,000 International, including EU, students (per annum): £33,500 Self-funded international applicants for this course will be required to pay a deposit of £1000 towards their tuition fees before a confirmation of acceptance for studies (CAS) is issued. This deposit will only be refunded if immigration permission is refused. We will notify you about how and when to make this payment.

- Standard Entry Requirement: A UK 2.2 Honours degree or overseas equivalent in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Metallurgical Engineering, Biomaterials, or a related subject.
- Alternative Entry: A first degree in Chemistry with a 2.1 classification is also accepted.
