Entry Requirements:

  • Minimum Qualification: An Upper Second class honours degree (or overseas equivalent) with an average of at least 65% in either biological sciences or biomedical sciences.
  • Specific Subject Requirements: Applicants must have taken sufficient relevant units in their undergraduate degree.
  • Chemistry Background: Applicants with a chemistry background are generally not considered unless they can demonstrate sufficient study of biology/biochemistry units.
  • Medical/Pharmacy Background: Applicants with a medical (MBChB/MBBS/MD) or pharmacy degree are generally not considered unless they can demonstrate significant laboratory or research experience.
