Overview

The MSc Clinical Dentistry (Paediatric Dentistry) program is designed to provide specialist clinical training in paediatric dentistry and build up knowledge of literature in this field. The program is offered by the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health at the University of Manchester.

Entry Requirements

• A primary dental qualification from a recognised institution.
• At least two years' recent experience in clinical professional practice, which does not include any time spent on an internship.

  • A copy of the primary dental qualification.
  • Proof of English language proficiency (if applicable).

• The program includes specialist clinical training in paediatric dentistry and the development of clinical skills at the University Dental Hospital of Manchester.
• Students will learn from consultants and specialists in paediatric dentistry and have the opportunity to pave the way for a research or clinical academic career in this area of dentistry.
• The program is accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons and leads to eligibility for the Membership in Paediatric Dentistry tri-collegiate specialty membership examination.

Fees

• For entry in the academic year beginning September 2025, the tuition fees are as follows:
  • MSc (full-time): £27,000 (UK students), £59,500 (International, including EU, students).
• The fees quoted above will be fully inclusive for the course tuition, administration, and computational costs during studies.
• All fees for entry will be subject to yearly review and incremental rises per annum are also likely over the duration of courses lasting more than a year for UK/EU students.
