Overview

The MSc Business Analysis and Strategic Management is a 12-month program that equips students to diagnose and solve complex business challenges. The program is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in organisational design, strategic capability development, and organisational analysis.

Entry Requirements

• A First or Upper Second class honours degree (2:1, with 60% average) from a UK university or the overseas equivalent.
• The Admissions Team takes into account the grade average, position in class, and the standing of the institution where the qualification was studied.

Course Details

• The program consists of four core modules (15 credits each) in Semester 1, building a strong foundation in organisational design, strategic capability development, and organisational analysis.
• In Semester 2, students shape their learning with one core module and three electives, including the option to take one module from another Alliance MBS MSc programme (subject to approval) to align with their career goals.
• The 60-credit capstone offers a choice between an academic dissertation or a supervised client consultancy project. The consultancy option includes a group report and individual reflective analysis, allowing students to apply theory to real-world strategic challenges—subject to their academic performance in Semester 1.

Fees

• For entry in the academic year beginning September 2025, the tuition fees are as follows:
  • MSc (full-time): £19,500 (UK students), £29,000 (International, including EU, students)
• The fees quoted above will be fully inclusive for the course tuition, administration, and computational costs during studies.

Refund Policy

• A deposit of £1000 is required to cover non-recoverable costs and secure a place on the course.
• The deposit is non-refundable, except in the following situations:
  • The student fails to meet the conditions of their offer.
  • The student is refused a visa or entry clearance to enter the UK (proof must be submitted).

Policy on Additional Costs

• All students should normally be able to complete their programme of study without incurring additional study costs over and above the tuition fee for that programme.
• Any unavoidable additional compulsory costs totalling more than 1% of the annual home undergraduate fee per annum will be made clear to students at the point of application.
