PG Credit Genomic Medicine CPD
Overview
The PG Credit Genomic Medicine CPD is a postgraduate program that allows students to apply genetics, genomics, and bioinformatics to patient care. The program is designed for healthcare professionals who want to enhance their knowledge and skills in genomic medicine.
Entry Requirements
- We typically require an honours degree (minimum Upper Second) or overseas equivalent in:
- Biomedical science
- Medicine
- Nursing
- Applicants with lower grades or a degree in a different subject, who have relevant professional experience or additional training, are encouraged to apply.

- We recommend that you apply as early as possible; we accept applications on a rolling basis up until two weeks before the start of each unit or until the unit is full.
Course Details
- The program is modular, and students can study one or more units from our MSc Genomic Medicine degree as standalone courses for continuing professional development.
- The program is designed to fit further study into your schedule if you do not have the time to undertake a full master's course.

Fees
- For entry in the academic year beginning September 2025, the tuition fees are as follows:
- Modular (part-time)
- UK students (per annum): £1,300 per 15 credits
- International, including EU, students (per annum): £3,500 per 15 credits

Scholarships/Sponsorships
- Funding is available to NHS staff for CPD units.
- It is possible to apply for multiple units and combine them for the award of PGCert Genomic Medicine or PGDip Genomic Medicine.
- Health Education England (HEE) funding is initially only available for up to four units but students may apply for further funding once these four units are underway.
