Overview

The MSc Electrical Power Systems Engineering program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices of electrical power systems engineering. The program covers a wide range of topics, including electrical power systems, control and automation, and sustainable energy.

Entry Requirements

• A good Upper Second Class Honours degree or international equivalent in electrical, electronic or mechatronic engineering, mechanical engineering, or chemical engineering.
• Evidence of strong relevant content within the degree program.
• The university takes into account the grade average, relevant course units, and the standing of the institution where the qualification was studied.

Application and Selection

• The university operates a non-staged admissions process.
• Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, with decisions made within 3 months of submission.
• Applications received after June 30th may be considered if places are still available.

Course Details

• The program is available full-time, with a duration of 12 months.
• The program is not available part-time or through distance learning.

Fees

• For entry in the academic year beginning September 2025, the tuition fees are:
  • UK students: £14,000 per annum
  • International, including EU, students: £36,500 per annum
• Fees are subject to yearly review and incremental rises per annum.
