- Required Subjects: Maths and one of electronics, computer science, physics, chemistry, biology, further mathematics, design and technology: systems control or design technology: design engineering H404
- Excluded Subjects: General Studies, Critical Thinking, Citizenship Studies, Global Perspectives and Research, and Thinking Skills

- Access to HE Diploma: 24 Level 3 credits at Distinction (to include a minimum of 15 Level 3 credits at Distinction in Mathematics) and 21 Level 3 credits at Merit
- BTEC Nationals: RQF Level 3 BTEC National Extended Diploma in Engineering – DDD including Distinction in units: Engineering Principles, Calculus to Solve Engineering Problems and Further Engineering Maths
