Overview

The Animal Nutrition MSc/PGDip program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of animal nutrition, covering farm, companion, and zoo animals, as well as the international animal feed industry. The program explores the latest developments in animal nutrition and considers the ethical implications associated with these trends.

  • Companion and Zoo Animal Nutrition (15 credits)
  • Molecular Nutrition (15 credits)
  • Research Techniques in Animal Nutrition (15 credits)

Learning and Assessment

• Teaching Methods: Seminars, lectures, practical classes, tutorials, field trips
• Assessment Methods: Coursework, presentation, examinations
• Contact Time and Study Hours: 25 hours per week in classes (autumn and spring semesters), 12 hours per week on self-guided study

Entry Requirements

• MSc/PGDip: 2:2 undergraduate degree in a biological, chemistry, biochemical engineering, or other relevant science from a recognized university; relevant workplace experience may also be accepted
• International and EU Equivalents: We accept a wide range of qualifications from all over the world
• English Language Requirements: IELTS 6.5 (no less than 6 in any element)
