- Our students benefit from opportunities in research and clinical practice because of the solid network we have developed throughout North Texas and across the United States.
- Completing required coursework, laboratory training, and clinical practicum experiences qualify you for national certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CCC-A) and satisfy the requirements for Texas state licensure in audiology.
- Along with the on-campus practicum at the UNT Speech and Hearing Center, off-site practicum opportunities are available at more than 100 sites in the region, including Children’s and VA hospitals, private practices, public schools, ENT practices, and more.
- All practicum requirements are closely monitored by a clinical supervisor, who will also review clinical competencies each semester.
- Our students have a 100% pass rate on the ASHA Praxis Exam, and more than 90% of graduates are employed in the field of audiology within one year of graduation.
